About the event
This week we will be taking a deep dive into flood resilience during this session. Together, we will explore what climate change is and how we can help to slow its impacts. We will also look at the different types of flood risk and learn how to stay safe during flooding events.
The session will then become more hands-on, as participants roll up their sleeves for the “Protect Your House” activity. In this practical scenario, groups will use the materials provided to design and build solutions to protect a house from heavy rainfall and reduce its flood risk
