About the event
This STEM activity is brought to you by the Research England Hydrogen Innovation Team at Teesside University Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre. The session invites you to explore an exciting idea from the world of science and engineering of using hydrogen as a fuel for cars. You’ll work in teams to build your own hydrogen-powered buggy and learn how hydrogen can create energy without harmful emissions. Once your buggies are fuelled, you’ll test them in a race to see how well your design works. Get ready to investigate, build, and race like real engineers!"
Please note that parents and carers need to provide transport to the venue, we will offer a subsidy for a taxi or towards petrol if needed.
